Hiking through the woods in Central Florida is not where you expect to hear the sound of rushing rapids. But sure enough, the sound started to come through the trees as the path wandered back towards the river. The river levels were up when this photograph was taken. The rapids are just a short walk from the main road in the Hillsborough River State Park on US 301.
