The winding mangrove trails of Boot Key have a way of pulling you in, of making you forget about everything else. The water shifts from deep shades of green and blue, the mangroves twisting and reaching in every direction. It’s quiet here, but not in an empty way—it’s the kind of quiet that makes you listen more closely.
