Marathon, Fl

When we lived in Marathon I went canoeing or sailing a few times a week to watch the sunset or make a lap around the harbor. Eventually I found a trail that cuts right through the middle of Boot Key. Most of the trail is a tunnel of mangroves and the tidal current runs very quickly. Better not get caught in there at low tide!
