Homosassa

Homosassa, FL

This was a windy day and there were so many jet contrails across the sky I thought a good photograph was going to be impossible. As if that wasn’t bad enough, after almost two hours of waiting it started to rain! Covering the camera, I sat out the storm and conspired to get a photograph of the cloud after it rolled past. The winds calmed down and I took this shot. That day proved to me that patience pays off. The Homosassa River is fed from the Homosassa Springs and flows into the Gulf of Mexico.
