Thonotosassa, FL

I returned to the Hillsborough River at the end of dry season. During the dry season the water level drops exposing the rocks beneath the rapids. The jagged rocks create a strong contrast to the smooth water of the rapids. A sturdy cypress tree anchors the scene while the river looks as if it would flow right off the edge of the print.
